Let me re-phrase that:
I wrote “Not many i hope.”
What i meant is that i hope the game will be finished soon,
so e.g.; 3 more updates and the game is finished.
I didn’t mean that i don’t want updates.

Pretty sure we’re going to see a lot more.
MP is far from being done yet, there are many bugs to be fixed in the game, Xen chapters, more features to be implemented, and much more.
So no, very unlikely there will be only a couple more updates, as far as I can tell.
I’m pretty sure I saw the guard rails in the game files already.
They were 2D brush-based textures.
These are 3D models.
Edit: Wait, you said in the game files. Good for you for looking, I guess?
There is also a TON of CU3 stuff in the files such as planes, hangers and some weapon models such as a pipewrench. I guess we will have to wait and see what it means.
Guard rails were in cu2. These were just the 2nd texture.
If I had to guess I’d say the different melee weapons models are for multiplayer, and you’ll get a melee weapon fitting for your player model.
Let’s stay on topic…speculating on what we will release in later updates is for other threads.
Slow couple of weeks with vacation/jet lag and being sick. Had an issue found with the flatbed truck in testing out STU and in doing the fix decided to redo the UV because parts were looking pretty low resolution.
Great as Always!
I really hope these replace all of the ugly 2D guard rails from half life 2.
They have to all be manually replaced as the HL2 ones are textures/brushes.
How many of those are there that need to be manually replaced, If I may ask?
All of them.
I’m aware of the process involved with replacing them but does this mean that you are replacing them?
I guess so…
Guess you will have to wait and see. I’m sure we will miss a few.
