Battlefield 4

You just reminded me of this battlefield history video I watched, where the guy was talking about the older games before BF2 and said something like there was no sense of purpose to winning the older games just because they didn’t track stats and kill/death ratios.

:what:

6 Reasons Why Battlefield 4’s Single Player Should Be Awesome - gamesradar

It at least sounds like they’re trying this time, but still I dunno, also, all Battlefield 3 Premium users get access to the BF4 Beta

I’d still have preferred another bad company instead. There’s too many soopr srs shoots out there

I bought BF3 because of hype/graphics mostly and was really disappointed (I’ve played it maybe 2-3 times). I don’t think I’ll be buying another Battlefield, really.

What a coincidence :o

  1. this is unanimously voted the worst battlefield. Why the hell would you take that as a symbol for the whole series? “I don’t like Star Wars I saw the christmas special and it was garbage”

  2. that being said, the MP is still pretty damn good. Did you touch it? If not, what the hell? Why would you even buy it? Did you not do any research at all?

  1. I really liked BF2 and 1942 so I’m not saying BF is bad, I guess I’ll wait for proper reviews of BF4 to get a proper stance on it. As far as I have seen though, it has gone pretty downhill.
  2. I did play it (and enjoyed it) for a bit but I got tired of it, I’m not really that much of a MP guy except if its with some friends on a LAN party or something.

ah, minterpretation

I still don’t understand all the hype for another Battlefield and Call of Duty. Black Ops II was at least interesting because of the futuristic premise, even though all I’ve heard is a lot of negative feedback, but this is just Battlefield 3.1. I suppose people play for multiplayer and that’s why it turns me off, but all of these games look and play exactly the same to me.

That’s fucking stupid. I hate to pull a Collision and state it so brashly and hypocritically idiotically and not explain why, but I can’t even put it into words. That’s just fucking stupid.

Exactly the same? EXACTLY? Sure, it’s not really apples and oranges, but it’s definitely Granny Smith and Fuji.

A lil offtopic, but since someone mentioned Black Ops 2, is it any good?
I really loved SP in the first one, best CoD campaign since CoD2 imo and the story was actually followable, not the mess that Modern Warfares are.

god damnit dotard

The MP in Blops2 is actually quite good. The SP, I hear, is not.

the SP was just crazy, and there were certain missions where you literally had to command your squad/units RTS style (and knowing that AI is god awful, it was hell)

it isnt exactly non-linear, all it has are branching storylines and alternate endings

You get to follow around michael rooker playing a young version of himself and eventually play as the main antagonist and then feel bad about having to punish him at the end

Even when Michael Rooker plays a bad guy I feel sorry for him. I guess it’s just his voice. It always sounded kinda innocent to me. Raspy yeah, but innocent.

You know what I’d like to see in BF4?

PROPER FUCKING COLLISION PHYSICS FOR VEHICLES.

Fucking DICE. In 1942, you could ride moving vehicles, and even stand on planes if you were careful enough. In BF2 standing on vehicles was bugged and caused some warping, but running over someone was still fucking calculated correctly. 2142 fixed the problems completely (probably for Titan).

Then BC rolls along and hitting into stuff was bugged as fuck, and roadkills wouldn’t even register half the time.

Then BF3 comes out and somehow the vehicle collision is fucking worse
