I’m a bit mad that they were given the chance with the cop show style theme song to bring the old melody back and they didn’t do it.
Honestly, for the most part, I either buy a game for the single player or the multiplayer. Smash bros has singleplayer, but I bought it for the multiplayer. Fire Emblem Awakening has multiplayer but I bought it for the singleplayer. The multiplayer, of BF4 is what you should buy the game for. imo BF4 is almost as bad as CoD in rehashing.
Comparing Advanced Warfare and Hardline, I’d say they’re way worse now. Advanced Warfare, while very very stupidly named, and still not something I’ll be buying, actually looks like they’re trying to change the game’s formula at least a little. Hardline is just a complete reskin with another short campaign not worth playing.
I thought Crysis was just a trilogy.
Could be just a marketing ploy - “look, we are taking time to make a game better, hur-dur…” Watch_Dogs did it and gained a lot more hype because of it, and we all know how it ended up… I’m starting to see more and more delays, and one of the reasons is to make people think that you care about the customers, especially after SimCity and Battlefield 4 debacles, but let’s not forget that we are dealing with EA here…
There could literally be no games to play the rest of this year if stuff keeps getting delayed. And the thing that gets me is that it almost never results in a less buggy product. At least to the naked eye. If you look at Watch Dogs, I can’t even imagine how much of a broken mess it would have been if it had released when it was supposed to instead of being delayed twice I think.
And yeah I don’t know what’s up with this game. Like you said garth, the game is essentially a copy paste job from BF4 so I doubt bugs are the issue here. I like the idea of devs wanting to put out a finished product but I haven’t been convinced that these delays allow that.
Edit: Oh and also Dragon Age Inquisition was delayed recently too, until November.
