Battlefield 3 finnaly show up - on Game Informer's March cover

High quality 1080p 60fps version. Only downside is that’s in QuickTime format.

Wow, that was cool when they showed how the building had a hole in it. That’s way better than having it crumble from one rocket.

I can’t wait to bomb buildings with jets in MP, or imagine just being in the same position of that sniper, but in MP, and diving out of a window and parachuting, before the entire floor is blown up behind you.

Gonna be sick.

Wish they showed more NEW stuff though.

It’s kind of getting annoying that all the media they’re giving us is just recycled vids of what they’ve already more or less shown us.

The avionics in the jet fighter were sexy as fuck.

Special BF3 in EA pwned_

“ea pwned_” lol. interesting fact: stuffy old crackers in suits awkwardly trying to design marketing to appeal to the kids is actually the illusive “god particle” they have been searching for in switzerland with that black hole machine and if it slowed down for even a moment every atom in the universe would fly apart and entropy would reign forever more

Can’t wait for this game. I noticed that someone on an earlier page said that the trailer was run with a single GTX580 (or something, I might be remembering the model wrong) so I should be able to run it pretty well  .

Here’s some more multiplayer stuff

I gotta say, the tank gameplay looked a little bland. I’ve never been a fan of tanks. They’re slow and ungainly and way over powered so they don’t make for good gameplay. Now jets, that’s an entirely different story, I want to see some of them. Plus, the multiplayer vid looks intense.

If it was remotely possible for PC and console to play together, my tactic would be to detonate all the buildings I can and send them tumbling to the ground, causing the console players to lag so bad that they don’t pose a threat.

I hope my computer doesn’t lag too much with the destruction :fffuuu: .

Yes, because a tank being as powerful in a game that strives to be realistic as it is in real life makes it overpowered. :retard:

Here’s another video, not sure if it’s been posted yet.

Over powered from a gameplay standpoint, not from a realism standpoint. Gameplay is more important than realism every time.

What I was saying is driving a massive slow overpowered (gameplay, not realism) vehicle in a campaign is boring.

It all looks good. The leading required in the tank firing makes up for that fatass god feeling you’re describing.

Also:

I fucking lold.

I like realism whether it’s overpowered or not.

I don’t want to be in an Abrams that can be destroyed with just one or two shots with an RPG. It ruins the experience, at least to me.

Wow. That’s great.

@manky what I’m getting at is simply NOT to have a tank scene in the campaign. That shit is just boring.
