"Bad movies" that you like

So, what are some “bad movies” that you personally like and why? They shouldn’t be movies that are considered “cult classics” such as Evil Dead. Try to include the IMDb link if you can so it’s not confused with a similarly titled movie.

I’ll start off:

I liked “Hackers”. Sure, the realism is nonexistent and contains enough laughably stupid moments to capsize an oceanliner*, but dammit, I liked it. I like the interaction between Zero Cool and Acid Burn…and I really liked Fisher Stevens’ character. And having Penn Jillette as his right hand man? Gold.

So, what about you guys? What movies are so bad that they’re good? Let the cheese begin!

Jack Frost 2, people who gave it bad reviews were trying to take it too seriously, I just watched it because I wanted to see a snowman killing people while giving bad one-liners, I never expected it to be good so I wasn’t dissapointed

Edit: I’d also say Troll 2 but that’s sort of a cult classic, I liked it because it was so unintentionally hilarious

Independence Day
Starship Troopers
13 going on 30 :3

Judging by their IMDB scores none of those are considered bad, in fact starship troopers has 7 out of 10 stars

Also, why no reasons?

Dungeons and Dragons, entirely because of Jeremy Irons.

Twilight - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1099212/

:jizz:

True story- Twilight is next on my Netflix queue.

I liked the First StarShip Troopers.
Its sequels, on the other hand, Sucked worse than the Mario Bros. Movie.

I gotta Hand it to Verhoeven though, The spinoff CGI cartoon “Roughnecks: StarShip Troopers Chronicles” was KICK ASS. Its a crying shame that it was canceled :frowning: .

The first Starship Troopers movie kicked ass, lots of gory special effects and good looking CGI. The military training part is funny.

Twilight, for one. I laughed through the entire movie.

Godzilla. All around not a good movie, but when I was a kid it was awesome. Plus its like the only American/CGI take on Godzilla, so I have to give it that. Plus when Godzilla dies I still get a little teary.

Plus I don’t know how bad Just Friends or She’s the Man are considered, but I’ll include them since they’re not really guy movies. They both had a lot of funny moments I liked. This scene always cracks me up

Santa’s Slay. So bad that it just gets hilarious.

It tells the story of an Angel and Satan’s son (Santa <-> Satan, getit?) having a bet. Santa loses the bet and has to play nice for the next 1000 years. Those thousand years are now over and he’s bound on making up for his lost time.

He rides around in his sleigh drivven by Helldeer to kill random people in rather festive ways (drown in eggnog, gift wrapping people so they choke, candy cane massacres, etc).

Something that made me feel giddy: they play Bill Goldberg’s (you know, former pro wrestler) entrance song when he’s rampaging + use his wrestling tag line “Who’s next?!”.

You laughed thru Twilight? I cried, I hate it so much.

Dark Harvest. It was so bad that it was just so much fun to point out cheesiness.

AI could be considered a “bad movie”, but I love it.

all of the matrixes

the only dvd i own is Return to Oz

Ah, I remember seeing that on TV. Epic stuff :3

All of the Bud Spencer & Terence Hill movies.

Also: Dungeons & Dragons. I actually found the acting pretty good in many scenes.

All films with Louis de Funès.

“Down with Love” (Ewan McGregor, Rene Zellweger)

Many, many more.

Godzilla (1998 ) I totally Forgot about poor old Zilla, yeah, it was a pretty good take on an AMERICAN version of Godzilla (even though Zilla was, is, and always will be significantly weaker than Japan’s Godzilla)

Mush. So bad yet so funny.
