God you people are idiots. Putting a target on a map does not indicate that you want the person dead. It clearly indicated that the person needs to be removed from office, a common though in politics. Palin is no more at fault here than some one who says âI really hate this politician, he should be removed from office.â Now go find something more productive to do with your time, like arguing with facts, not baseless accusations.

Your point? The fact remains that the original image had nothing to do with killing people. Even if we say they are crosshairs, a crosshair implies a target. The word target does not imply targeted for death. The fact that some idiot decided to go kill a politician does not mean that a person calling for his removal from office is to blame, otherwise everytime a politician is killed their opponent would be jailed.

Youâre absolutely right, Someonerandm. Palin didnât say âkill these peopleâ. However, thatâs not the point. Targets can be misconstrued to mean âkill these peopleâ by unstable people. And, you have to admit, the right isnât doing anything to squelch this and their words are only serving to destabilize these people even more.

I think it behooves of many on the right to have a frank discussion with these lunatics and completely and vehemently condemn this kind of thing. From George W. Bush to Sarah Palin to Bill OâReilly to Glenn Beck to Sean Hannity to Michael Savage to Rush LimbaughâŚthey all need to come out and condemn these things and talk with the nutbags to calm them the fuck down.
