Holy shit. It’s awesome. I picked it up at noon and literally didn’t stop playing for 8 hours, not even to eat. And I’ve barely scratched the surface. The new combat system is awesome, but unfortunately those chain combos where you stab someone then shoot someone else are basically unstoppable. As if Ezio wasn’t already a beast.
The storyline so far is neat, and Rome is gorgeous. I love exploring the aqueducts.
Thoughts?
Just out of curiosity, is it the same map as AC2, or is it new or expanded?
I think ACBH takes place entirely in Rome.
Jut picked it up today as well. I love the AC games, and this one is no exception, digging it for sure. But I’m having a Hell of a time with those execution strings. They just don’t seem to work for me. I can only seem to do the old-fashioned counter-kills, and nothing else :-/
Wish I could figure out what I’m doing wrong.
But, at any rate, I’m loving it.
They weren’t kidding when they said ACB was alot longer than AC2. Finished it today without doing any side quests. Fucking awesome.
Game was fucking epic.

It is, and I was way disappointed when I got it…but I spent a long time getting the keys to gain entrance, I want to at least display it in my hideout goddammit.

Ok, now I’m really excited, can’t way for the pc release to be able to play the game.
I beat it about a week after launch And you’re right, it’s awesome. Multiplayer is also very well done. A shame I won’t be able to play it when I move in a month.
Indeed. And if you do all the side quests thats even LONGER.
And then there’s multiplayer.
And then there’s the two free DLC packs. (PS3 anyway.)
I’m not entirely sold on it being longer than ACII, but I will certainly say this about it-- just when you think things are wrapping up, it goes on a little longer. And then, when you think it’s all said and done, it goes on a little longer. Then, just after that, things get really interesting.
