Honestly, no offense, but this looks like a God of justice and revenge, not the God of compassion or love.
Did you know that psychologists and psychiatrists consider homosexuality a natural and healthy phenomenon that occurs in any species, including humans? You can find more information about it here.
Allow me to make some critics.
When I said that Christians fight to each other and to non-Christians about things that don’t matter, I was talking about homosexuality as well. Homosexuality is the perfect example of something that doesn’t make much difference. Think about it: gay people don’t hurt other people more than heterosexuals do. If they are going to hell because of it, that is their problem, you should pity them and try helping them, not to be angry at them. And honestly I don’t see why they should go to hell.
If you didn’t pay attention, you are demonstrating a lot of anger towards homosexuals. I bet you don’t know any homosexual personally - otherwise I am sure you wouldn’t be so angry about them. In this case, you don’t have enough knowledge to accuse them of being pervert.
Are there pervert homosexuals? Yes, there are.
Are there non-pervert homosexuals? Yes, there are.
Are there pervert heterosexuals? Yes, there are lots of pervert heterosexual people as well.
Don’t you think you should be spending this energy on things that really matter? For instance, the world is filled with anger, so you, as a good disciple of Christ, need to spread tolerance, friendship, you need to teach people to accept each other regardless of their choices or their way of thinking. After all, isn’t this the greatest Jesus lesson: to love everyone, to accept everyone, to talk to them as equals and try to understand them?
My advice to you: do you want to know why homosexuals are the way they are? Do you want to be able to help them to become better people? Then make gay friends. If you have the chance to talk to a group of homosexuals, do that, and keep doing that as many times as you can. Or even better: just listen to what they say without saying anything except when they talk directly to you. Listen to them as if they were all Christians, or, even better, as if you were gay. You don’t have to say that you are gay nor act like one, just listen to them without hating them.
Remember that when Jesus invited publicans to eat dinner with him, he did not tell them that they needed to stop being publicans before having dinner with Jesus. When his disciples were uncomfortable with their presence, Jesus defended the publicans, not his disciples. You have to imitate Jesus: you need to defend gay people against gay haters - not with hate, but with comprehension and compassion.
If someone tells you “But you don’t need to be friend of gay people to accept and love them,” he is lying. If someone says that, he does not accept nor love gay people! Instead of loving, he is afraid of talking to them and of knowing them! Just to say hello and goodbye is not love at all, it is fear!
Is it hard to talk to gay people? Yes, it is. Is it hard to accept them as equals? Yes, it is. Is it hard to suffer prejudice from your fellow Christians because you are talking to gay people? Yes, definitely! In fact, your own friends and family will turn against you if you do that! But it is the right thing to do and that is what Jesus would do.
I mentioned homosexuals, but when you find people from other religion and atheists, you should do the same.
Okay, I’m done. If you are going to believe in what I said or not, well, that is your choice.
