Because boiling water is fucking hot and milk is usually the coldest thing around.
I personally hate tea with milk; I go for more exotic teas with some honey if they require it. :3
Honey RUINS tea. Either have sugar or take it the manly way.
I mainly take it the manly way, but if it’s how it is traditionally consumed… then I’d rather bear the honey in the tea.
I have no milk or sugar in my tea and when I see people have milk and 5 sugars in their’s a stunned expression often forms on my face 
I usually drink it natural, but mint tea requires sugar. It’s just the way it’s supposed to be.
I’ll put it on the “to try” list which is now getting quite big.
I’m talking about Moroccan-style mint tea though. That’s the best kind :3
Personally I hate all types of tea, and chips, and football, and pubs. I must be the weirdest British guy here.

I’m no tea fan, and football (and most televised sport - sport is for doing not watching imo) bores me to tears. But chips rock, and if you don’t like pubs you obviously just haven’t been to the right ones/inthe right company. I’ll take you out for a drink and turn your head.
