Ask A Bodybuilder

The long hair was my look in high school.

Holy god damn, Kaze!

Looks like your facial features will eventually collide with one another the more you lift weights.

I’m not quite sure what you’re trying to imply with that, but it can’t be positive.

I think he’s trying to say your face got scrunched from before to now…but it didn’t, obviously. Maybe it’s cause you cut your hair ond your avatar pic was taken from a distance?

If you’re able to call them tits, you’re doing it wrong.

I have a bit of a question. You obviously take pride in the work ethic and dedication it takes to properly sculpt ones body.
I’m sure you’ve seen the many late night adverts saying with simple short exercise you can look like a super athlete. Which of these adverts irk you the most? P90X, Insane, some other?

“With my brains and your brawn, we’ll make an excellent team!”

Just kidding.

What was your motivation to get all muscled up?

Quoting Kaze from Page 3:

Interesting.

In terms of whey protein? Any sort of whey isolate. I use ON Whey simply because I like the flavors, however SciVation makes about the cheapest whey. Their 10 pound bag is about as much as ON’s 5 pound tub.

Recovery powder? What?

When you’re supposed to. “These supplements” could mean a lot of things.

Does it really matter? Just go to WalMart and buy some fish oil capsules. Be happy.

Chia Seeds? Are you trying to grow green hair from your pores or something? This isn’t the mythical herbal remedy advice thread.

All of them. Particularly any of them that claim to be the “easy way out” or act like their methods are magic. You’re basically paying $120 to watch a bunch of DVD’s while doing cardio.

Kaze, I love every answer you give to any question.

Winged one, WTF is with you sticking your tongue into everyone’s ass? Seriously man

small my ass. I bet your weight is no less than 70 kilos here. Me - that is who you call small.

You’re probably about right, and yes, that is small. It’s tiny.

Well, no, he just made me laugh with the chia comment.

get your tongue out of my ass :expressionless:

I can’t, your huge fucking gluts are clamped down on it. =/

I dunno if Kaze remembers, but back in the Bodybuilding thread in Off Topic, I mentioned that I could only bench about 40kg max. Well yesterday I hit my new record of 55kg, and I have been getting comments at uni that I’m looking “buff” lately lol.

Thing is, I still weigh about 66kg’s and I have a whole lot of skinny fat on my belly, so much so that when I relax, it just flops out :frowning: WTF do I do? I want to keep eating so I keep building, but I want to lose this flab.

If you were to cut weight, the only thing you would accomplish is starving your body of what it really needs, which is an increase in calories to actually build muscle.

The reason you are skinny fat is because there is nothing there to be shown. There is little to no point in cutting unless you have at least a respectable amount of lean body mass to show for it. You’re just going to look like an unfortunate Ethiopian.

You seem to be a big proponent for free weights. What machines, if any, would you promote.

Also, if I wanted to gain muscle, cut fat, and improve cardio, what would be the best for the last two items, since I heard cardio not only burns fat but muscle, as well.
