Arma Devs go home!

What they were spying on/for interests me much more than their release from incarceration.

They were apparently taking pictures of military bases to use in their game and the Greek government flipped its shit.

Pretty old…

Which is weird since you can pretty much map out the entire base with google maps.

Well next time they should just google military bases.

It’s rather strange, though. Tourists, from what I’ve read, have taken pictures of the base for a pretty long time and no one’s given a shit. But when these guys come along and take pictures they get thrown in the brig.

Don’t know if it’s political or what. I’m not exactly a buff on European prejudices.

As far as I know there isn’t tension in particular between czechs and greeks, but then again I could be wrong.

Maybe one of the devs dressed in military boots, black pants and black sweater vest, while sporting a killer Dalí moustache/goatee combo.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
