When I read that the game was delayed a whole month for PC, I considered getting it for the PS3.
Steamworks and pre-order discount if you already have Arkham Asylum? Hell yeah, bro. For shit like this I can wait another month.

I got a free Steam CD-key for it with my GTX 560. :3 I can wait another month.
Lucky fag.
It looks so fucking good, too. I have almost 50 hours in Arkham Asylum and every review I’ve read says that City surpasses it in almost every way.
Yes. Between this, BF3, Skyrim, Uncharted 3 and AC: Revelations, the end of this year is going to be glorious for gaming.
“Pre-Purchase Batman Arkham City Prepurchase”
You can buy it even before it is available to be purchased.
I’ve been replaying Arkham Asylum with PhysX on high now that I have a GTX 560, holy fucking shit the Scarecrow sections are even more incredible.
[COLOR=‘Black’]They also completely eviscerate my framerate, but hey, they look nice.
Speaking of Arkham Asylum, it’s on sale for $10 right now in Midweek Madness. Just nabbed it myself.
I would get this, except it comes out November 15, which means I won’t play it till past Christmas, at which point it will probably be on sale.
It looks awesome.
So wait, does this game not use GFWL except for multiplayer? Like I can play single player without using it? If so then that’s definitely a step up from AA.
I don’t see how. GFWL affects me in literally no way whatsoever, I don’t see what everyone’s issue with it is.
Not as good as steam is, and steam is basically the standard which everyone wants.
I started with an offline account and then when I was forced to log in for Red Faction it started logging me in for Batman and I can’t play my offline account game. That’s pretty much the reason I stopped playing it because I didn’t feel like bothering with it.
If there’s a way to go back to my offline account please tell me.
I’ve just had multiple issues with GFWL not letting me log in or being unable to update. Its just a generally terrible system that does nothing.
You could just buy the game you’re playing on offline mode. That’d solve your issue.
It seems AC is using Steamworks instead.
If you bought it then what’s the issue with it logging you in? I don’t see why it’s that big a bother. I just have it set to automatically log me in and I never bother with it.
When I first got it I got right into playing it when I first started it up without seeing any GFWL stuff. Shortly after I bought Red Faction Guerilla (well the RF pack) and when I started it up it made me create a GFWL account, so I did. Shortly after, when I started AA back up it signed into the GFWL account I started for RF and now I can’t go back to playing the game I already had because I guess it was an offline account and I don’t know how to log back into it if it’s even possible.
And all of this is put on top of the fact it serves absolutely no purpose in a Steam game. Thats the biggest problem here.
