[ARG] The Pizza Code Mystery

bmrf.us is Stormseeker’s own domain as far as I know. Anyone who wants to redirect the domain to anywhere else has to have passwords to the control panel of the domain. So this IS related to the ARG, maybe it doesn’t really point at anything because it’s supposed to be a time filler in between other main pieces of the ARG.

Or who knows, maybe this actually is actually just trying to point us in the right direction?

BMRF.us was linked to by one of the Black Mesa Devs when it went haywire, so it is pretty much confirmed to be related to the ARG

Just throwing a random bone around, has anyone thought of 21 into 1 being a reference to a modulo 20 operation?

OK, if this is official then I am so on board! That computer could definitely be in-game . . . hmmm.

“Get away from there, Freeman! I’m expecting an important message”
Is from Anomalous Materials, scientist response when interact with computer terminal.
Maybe that is telling us that we need to look for that terminal, in Anomalous Materials chapter?

Yeah, i found this yesterday, but i do not attach importance

You may be on to something. Does this link https://web.ewu.edu/prime/Modulo1.htm sum up what your talking about? Could this be used with anything we have now?

I noticed on SteamDB that there was an entry for Black Mesa: https://steamdb.info/app/221140/subs/

The AppID is 221140. There are 22 comments on the KXBM site, but I couldn’t find anything to do with 11 and 40. It may not be important, but when I go to the KXBM website it throws an error in the console saying invalid AppID.

Hmm. Considering that 1 and 21 are both Fibbonaci sequence numbers, we could actually use those for that modulo thing. Makes sense?

Further basing on that, could it be 1 Mod 21?

I apologize dearly if I’m derailing anything here, but I would just like to ask if there’s anything I would need to know or skills I would need to have before I joined in this search? New to ARGs and such. Sorry if I’m a bother.

I don’t think one can be a bother. Providing thoughts and other discoveries are always helpful. Just look around because you might find something.

On a side note, has anyone noticed the numbers: 203428 on the Local Desert Singles site (the page for Thomas Lee).

That image of the broken console (or at least it looks like a broken console to me) it reminds me of one of the consoles for anomalous materials from one of the BBMIP threads. https://i.imgur.com/UoJ8R88.jpg

Now I don’t think its that console specifically, broken or not. Just saying my thoughts on the subject.

Also, has anyone been able to find that console in game yet? i mean, it seems strange to point out something inconspicuous like some broken console. but then again, i’m new to these ARGs.

Well the App ID is either assigned by valve, or randomly assigned, though I guess that doesn’t stop the ARG team from using the Number after the fact.

It says the App ID was created two years ago, so maybe the just worked it in. Also fifteen people were playing the game today.

Has anyone attempted to actually tune into the HAM signal that is displayed on the radio when you click the secret button? That might get something.

We already know about it. Read the old posts

Well, Supa, why don’t you tell the class so we don’t have to look through all of the pages for one piece of information. Save that for the actual search.

Someone tried it already, apparently it led nowhere. No need to get all patronising

Cool it guys.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
