[ARG] The Pizza Code Mystery

Maybe, but remember this: “Don’t trust anyone, it’s not safe.”
It just crossed my mind

‘Don’t Click Strange links, not even for Rocket Launchers’ Is most likely related to the Space X article at the bottom about a Rocket Launch

Or “I like long walks on the beach and rocket launchers. Preferably at the same time.” , right under Thomas Lee, which clicking sends you to the actual page.

Looks like the same thing to me…

I was thinking about “Contact us”. There is probably a good reason for sending you to Steam, right?

I thought it was actually sending you to a store page, with an actual APPID, but nope. It’s just plain steampowered.com.

Where is this link?

Also, there is a timer when you go on the console on localdesertsingles.com , next to the are you alone stuff. Is this always in the console?

It’s not really a timer, it just tells that the same console message has been called repeatedly for easier reading.

they’ve update the distortion effects, adding a digital snow layer? or was that always there?

On “Contact Us” at the bottom of the page, on the left. It sends you to https://steampowered.com/.

It’s not a timer. The “… aren’t you alone …” message is set to be re-printed on the console every 2000ms (2 seconds), and every time it’s printed again, it the console increases the counter on the side to prevent flooding your console with the same message.

It was always there.
EDIT: It was always there, but the effects intensify with each passing moment, so they might not be too obvious until some time passes.

By the way guys, turns out 8chan is doing it’s own work on this. Some dude figured out the soundwave on those please wait screens was actually an image:

There are also several other communities working on this, such as Facepunch. I’m going to try to get them to come here with all of their stuff.

Not to burst any bubbles or be a Debby downer but are we sure that this website is actually related to the ARG?

Do you have a mirror for that image, I think the thread is gone

Best I can do: https://i.cubeupload.com/b2ECxC.png

Yes, yes we are. This website has several mentions of stuff we’ve already found such as the SSTV clue, as well as the fact that bmrf.us redirects to this. This is heavily related to the ARG.

Huh. Looks like a smashed Computer

Yeah, my thoughts are that it’s a smashed computer we can find somewhere in Black Mesa itself.

EDIT: Oh and by the way is it just me or did teminal.bmrf.us change?

Maybe in the Biodome In QE? The wiki says something about Dr Horn’s body being found scattered on the floor holding the Tau Cannon, maybe its near there

Just because it linked from bmrf.us doesn’t mean Storm has anything to do with it. I don’t think we ever verified that he actually created that site. Again, not trying to spoil the fun, but this is a somewhat popular ARG and anyone can make a website. Until we have verification, be careful of intentional misleading and red-herrings.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
