Hailing from America, a prominent TV psychologist has somehow managed to link an increase in rape to videogames.

Despite offering no evidence at all, she made this claim as part of a news report entitled ‘Is Bulletstorm the Worst Video Game in the World?’

There are now over 85% less rapes in the US than there were 30 years ago. So yeah the amount of rapes has dropped significantly. If anything, it shows the opposite. Games started becoming big about 30 years ago, so as games have become more common place rapes have continued to drop.
