Just saw these on some computers on Newegg.
When in doubt, google for reviews.
My googling skills tell me the 6450 is about as fast as my 7800GT (which means it’s shit) and the GT520 is even more shit. Avoid both at all costs.
Ok, thanks for the info.
they’re low end cards for people who use a computer as cable box/dvr
yes, they are
They’re Complete shite. Get a gtx 460 or 5770 at the very least. A gtx 560 or 6870 would be even better.
The best value card I’ve seen lately is the Geforce GTX 560 Twin-FrozR II.
Yeah 560 is awesome
but in my opinion the best value is the 6950 with 2 gigs of ram, it costs about 200 euros and can be unlocked to 6970 (if you find the right model)
What’s your budget anyway? Is it 500$?
Then check this out.
The best gaming PC for 500 bucks would be the one with a Radeon 6850 and a core i3.
In my opinion when you want to buy technology don’t look for the most expensive stuff, look for the newest stuff.
Also, build your own PC, tbh it’s pretty much like playing with LEGOs. It’s also much cheaper (imo) than OEM pcs
I recently bought a quite cheap preset desktop including the latest i7 and a HD6750. Previously i had a craptop with a 8400M ge-force. I was blown away by the capabilities of the HD6750 personally. At least for the price I paid for it that is. I can run all games released before 2011 at highest specs and it supports DX11.
When you see an x4xx radeon - you know that this is an entry level card. E.G. not for ‘hardcore’ gaming.
@Freekheid
That GPU is probably bottle necking your system…
You should use at least a 6950 with a core i7 (the LGA1155 one)
