Get a decent Email profile instead of a shitty one.

Spammers use programs that crawl the internet for email addresses to spam.

I say structure your email name the same way you structure a password… use abreviations, numbers, things like that.
Also, it only takes a simple regex filter to transform “blah blah gmail com” to blah.blah@gmail.com, so doing that is placebo at best.
Web spiders are much more common-place and a more reliable system for spammers from my understanding. Even if they do dictionary attacks, they will be sending a huge amount of emails to bad addresses, which is a huge waste of resources.
Had this once happen to me.
It’s kind of dangerous opening spam, but alot of emails do carry unsubscribe links attached.
So if your feeling risky see if you can unsubscribe to a few of them. :jizz:

I may cry if this email address is compromised but to tell you the truth, I will get over it eventually if spam starts to fill it up. (At this stage, I am getting some spam, but it isnt horrible just yet.)

I currently get NO spam but I may have to cry for months on end if this account is compromised. (insta ban for anyone in this thread that gives this out! I am so totally serious it isnt funny)
victoria.somethingelse (ta) gmail.com - This is for applying to jobs ONLY as well as my special elite folks that only a few people even are aware of account. I will have to slit my wrist if this address is compromised.
I am rather sure I have other email addresses out there for safe keeping, but they are being saved for drastic times and drastic measures.
