Any .png, .jpeg folders of Half Life textures?

Yup, another quality thread by none other than me. :slight_smile:

Anyway, I searched and couldn’t find anything good, but is there, like a download of a folder that has a bunch of Half Life floor textures, catwalk textures, wall textures, because I can’t find anything.

I’m not looking for .gch or .bsp files or anything like that, just normal images.

I think VTFedit has some kind of function for that…

I have no experience with… about anything.

I can’t find any .VMT files, nor a .vmt to .png converter.

I just got GCFScape, and I don’t know what I am doing, but I did extract all the enviornment textures into one folder, all 3116 of them.

Now I just need to go through every single one and pick which ones are good.

Gimp (and PS too) has a vtf plugin if that helps.

You could use Crafty to preview & rip textures out of any .gcf as .jpg, .bmp or .tga files. Sadly it can not be done in bulk.
