It’s been ages since they’ve updated their media section and they seem to have vanished off the face of the earth.
No, I wish they will update it, it looks good
why do good mods die?!?!?!?
Well they’re not a mod, they’ve gone commercial.
I wish Half-Life: Enhanced didn’t die.
awww, wtf, posted angain,
hl1 enhanced was epic, dead, well DAMN!
Strider mod also looked good, but that died too.
What’s so great about Half-Life with better graphics? (I hope people see the irony in this post.)
Anyway, I never played “They Hunger.” I know I should, but…
I’ll find time.
I never really played the original They Hunger trilogy, so I’m really looking forward to playing this game since it has great graphics and just looks way more scary than the original. So hopefully they haven’t died on us
Like people have been saying, it’s a commercial mod. As in PAY UP SUCKA’! I doubt they will throw away a highly anticipated mod and the money that comes with that anticipation. Unlike Black Mesa’s developers, They Hunger’s developers have a more worthwhile motivation to keep the mod/game alive: they get paid!
Also, Duke Nukem Forever hasn’t had an update since Christmas and we all know they’re still working on it! Glad I can reassure everyone.
Paying for a mod = FAIL
End of story.
It’s not a mod, though, it’s a comericial game licenced to the source engine. I’m looking forward to it, as the They Hunger trilogy was great for an early HL mod, and I loved the gameplay and npc/weapon variety.
I know that it’s a commercial game, I said it myself a few posts before.
And there have been reported cases of even commercial games being cancelled you know.
And Duke Nukem Forever comes out next week
Yeah, but hey, it’s They Hunger. It’s the return of a classic Half-Life 1 mod.
Also, I beleive there have been about 1 Billion comments saying that they’d pay money to play Black Mesa: Source, which is, as we all know, a mod.
Paying for a mod is like paying for a Linux distribution. It’s dumb.
Looked neat, but the controls were impossible for walking a strider around, you need a big open space for those things, and the maps I played were very small and striders had trouble moving around them.
Cool tech demo though.
Quoted for truth.
True, but I guess who ever bought L4D just payed 100 bucks for a 4 year old engine (Australian currency).
I loved the first 3 They hungers, so I’d be willing to pay for a new one… as long as it’s not too much.
I was just looking at that actually, the animations in the trailer seem a bit off but I’ll probably end up getting it.
Tell me how it is when it comes out B)
Same here.
Killing Floor looks like Left 4 Dead and Resident Evil 4 had a sick, sick, baby!
However, if it’s crap, I don’t want to be the fool who pre-orderd it. I never buy a game without a review. Okay, some reviews are crap (GTA4 should NOT of gotten a 10), but they at least give you an idea on how good the game is.
