Although certain aspects of this mod seem interesting, the models and concept art on the site is quite off-putting. Then there’s the inclusion of Half-Life 1 monsters, which begs the question “Why?”

who knows , i’d take a guess that he doesn’t want something too expressive , like they did in the movie Paranoid Park , they took a weak actor because that’s what they needed someone to not fully express what is happening …

Reintroducing old content from the goldsource Half-Life games is the most common and shameless attempt at generating a fanbase next to basically any generic thing you’d see in the same sentence as “realism.” Because that’s the two things that seem to draw idiots like flies in the mod community. Realism and Nostalgia.

I never said that. I’m just saying I don’t see any real rhyme or reasoning behind the game content I’ve seen in the videos or website. I’m not saying it isn’t there, but it just becomes hard to see the appeal of the mod. Save for Catz of course. :3
