And Ibanez takes the plunge!

Because you touch yourself at night, and because it looks cool. I put a cement texture on that floor and there were cracks and dirt showing through it, so I was all ‘hey! I should stick grass growing through the ground there!’

:freeman:

Is that dead guy a prop from HL2 or did you make it yourself or find it somewhere?

Oh, it’s from HL2. Everything you see is stock HL2.

Guys, I’m a mapper, not a modeler, texture artist, or what have you. If anyone wants to help me out, since I have an idea forming in my head of a mod I’d like to make with this, then feel free. As it is, though, it’s all HL2 all the time.

oh god, oh man, oh god, oh man, oh god, oh m

Creepy. I want to play this level so make sure to post it here when you’re finished.

It’s the shower of doom!

more dirty laundry for you and your goons!

I fail to believe this is your first map (with Source)
It’s too awesome.

Remember with you lighting to bring the light entity a little way away from the wall or light model, if you dont your lights will turn the whole surface of the wall and light(model) white, giving a big glare effect which is a common mistake for the newer guys. Looks good but.

And remember to read all of the OP’s comments regarding lighting before making suggestions.

Pretty damn good for a first map, what’s the theme or idea you had in mind?

I am so fucking jealous. ):

I love the atmosphere. Really superb job Ibanez.

I see you lurkin’ there!

i actually have a bad habit of leaving this thread open while i map. :frowning:

Is that a poison zombie at the end of the hall? God, I hate those things.

You have inspired me to start Source mapping.

Well, to be honest, you did that three days ago.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
