Yeah, I just saw it. So now Frictional and TheChineseRoom are throwing pig monsters at us?

I approve.

looks great, really cant wait.

Hopefully it’s a lot longer than the 1st game

I hope that pig grunt won’t break the whole atmosphere :fffuuu: But still looking very much forward to it!

This.

Can’t say I was disappointed with the length of the first game, bought it cheap in the Humble Bundle, and it is cheap to begin with.

I’m definitely all for a longer Amnesia game though.

Hoping they’ll be able to vary the gameplay a bit, would be a shame if this game is just Amnesia:TDD in a different flavor.

Looks very atmospheric.

Also they know that most of the people who bought The Dark Descent will be playing this.

This didn’t look good at all.
Why would they re-use almost every asset from the previous game? I thought since this would use HPL3, they would’ve at least made more original stuff. So far this just looks like a mod for TDD.

The only thing that seems to be better is the audio.

I guess much of what has been shown have been placeholders. Many devs do this, because the game isn’t finished anyway.

I think it is using HPL Engine 2 the same for The Dark Descent. HPL Engine 3 in development but won’t be used for this game.

That doesn’t stop them from creating original assets. The ones in the teaser look out of place.

Yes. But like DiePoente said, I think they are just placeholders. The game is set in the same universe as the previous game. The background here is more industrial and there are many scenes on the trailer that we can see that (except for the very first part where we see a room that is exactly like the previous game and some machinery that resembles The Dark Descent).

I hope they don’t post any picture of the monsters :stuck_out_tongue:

Piggy got pumped.

I expect Pewdiepie say “PIGGY IS TRAITOR!”

LOL. I expect that too xD in addition to the already known enemy (barrels).

A machine for pigs? Interesting title.
Perhaps the pigs… march…

They’ve been doing the ‘heh you can’t fight the ghoulies, IDIOT’ thing since penumbra. Would be interesting to at least have the option to cause the death of a few by accidentally triggering something heavy to fall on them.

Plenty of other games lets you kill the monsters and being powerless against your enemies in horror game works.

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Let it be.
