Amazing H-L2 Lego Set (Unfortunately Fan Made)

So it’s not available for purchase.

I posted a couple of pics of this fellows (the talented ORRANGE) sets just before the forum crash, but I didn’t know how many pics there were.

Here’s a link to Kotaku’s coverage of the set (pics therein).

If only lego would license half life. I’m sure that they’d sell out within days!

LEGO is danish. Danes don’t care about video games. Despite all of their violent weapons and action themes, they have a strict Non-violent policy.

You can mold your own pices like headcrabs/helmets with a vacuum-form machine hooked up to a computer, or clay. This is how BrickArmsare made, which are the weapons you see here.

You can buy decals and print designs onto them to apply to your minifigs.

“Unfortunately Fan Made”? I resent that. LEGO is an art medium and also a plastic toy, but shit, you talk like you’ve got no talent and have to buy it.

I meant “Unfortunately fan made” in the sense that it would be illegal for ORRANGE to sell the sets. If it was licensed to Lego, I’d be putting in my order.

You should at least get some clarification before you “resent” someone, especially someone who has made many a soap carving of action figures that don’t exist.

LEGO, the good old days.

He could sell that shit through eBay if he wanted to.

Also, please keep in mind normal, robot-like typing on the internet does not convey feelings or intention because you can’t inflict a tone of voice.

Unless you’re a badass. Are you a badass?

If he wanted to, but I don’t think he would make enough to cover the imminent lawsuit.

This statement conveyed enough for me to address and clarify my stance.

And yes I am, not that it matters in the cyberscape.

Haha, those are great.

Lies. We just value our beer higher.

Truly amazing. I love that shot.

Half-Life is a Mature Game. LEGO would most certainly not be too keen on making sets based on it, kids are its target audience after all. But who knows.

They’re non-violent? Star WARS sets and GUNS have been produced, so I’m not sure what they’re problem is

^

It’s a matter of Star Wars sells toys (and a shyte load of them, see the three massive commercials) and Half-Life 2 likely wouldn’t  .

Well, Star Wars wasn’t rated Mature or something as far as I know. If you sell a set about a game rated Mature, the Kids would want to associate it with something they don’t know about since they’re theoretically not allowed to play that Game (I know it would be naive to think they won’t play it anyway :3). That’s kind of problematic situation.

If only there were LEGO sets for adults :awesome: …

Then we could finally get our all yellow legowomen

EDIT: Yuck! Whats wrong with me? :fffuuu:

lego Porn studio set. swiveling cameras and interlocking groins.

edit: ffff didn’t see the date >.<

Nice necropost.

Those are pretty epic, even though I’ve seen them way too many times.
@Ramirezoid: my brother buys sooo many brickarms…

edit: oshi- didn’t realize how long ago this thread was made…

thx for necroposting. didn’t notice this thread before.
great lego sets.
and he could sell it if he didn’t label it as LEGO. LEGO doesn’t own all objects that can be put together. I’ve seen knock-offs before.

I think some of the suttf he uses is official LEGO tho so he will encounter problems there

Still, we can dream right?

That is awesome! I would definitely consider buying that.
