For those who don’t know hat it is, it’s a new game coming out that is an MMO version of GTA with more shooter elements and amazing character customization. Unfortunately there is a subscription fee. Worth it or not?

I personally am going to buy it mainly for the social aspect; me and several of my friends are going to buy it and we will all play together. one nice thing about the subscription fee is that when you first buy the game it comes with about 50 hours of gameplay before you have to pay more. And after that it is 7 dollars for every 20 hours of gameply.

wow looks really good, Graphically at-least. And sounds like a neat concept if implemented all the way. Not sudo 1/2 online but full out online like the tailor says.

But I cant bring myself to ever pay a monthly fee for a game. At least it’s per play time instead of a reoccurring fee.

I like the idea of buying playtime rather than just a monthly fee.
I love Crackdown so I may try this, but it doesnt really interest me a whole ton, just a little.

Also, I forgot to mention, if you play more than 20 hours per month you have the option to buy monthly for 9 dollars a month.

^ IDK there is another video on youtube that showcases the customization of it. Needless to say I was taken back at the tattoo creation/logo creation part of that video.

APB has amazing customization features. I’m in the EU beta right now, Got a key from a friend. Together it’s a great game, the only thing that irks me is the weapon upgrades. They have no downsides. They’re straight upgrades, so if you go into a battle with an SMG that has a fire rate increase and damage increase versus someone with a stock SMG, you win. Unless you can’t aim at all. Aside from that, The game is good enough for me to buy (Placed a preorder thru steam a couple days ago, get early access and 7 exclusive items/cars/emotes/etc.)

I fear that, like all MMOs, it will be grind, more grind, and then some more grind.

but it isn’t a mmorpg though, I think.

It may be more of just a MASSIVE shooter, where you unlock cool but not entirely necessary items.

It’s from creators of GTA so it could be cool.

Actually I thought they ceased it development LOOOOONG ago. it was anounced 2-3 years ago.

I’m in the EU beta as well but it just lags horribly whenever I play. Normally my games don’t lag that much, so I think APB is the problem. I don’t really liked the game as much as I thought I would, but it has some pretty cool customization features such as clothes and cars…

Well, I’m gonna look into it, it looks amazing and it’s 20 hour offer would be nice, considering my not playing games much. does anyone know if it has a lifetime fee?

I think I’ll buy it if I have a better PC by the time it comes out.

I fear those cool items will ultimately be gotten by grind. Admittedly, this grind will be better than WoW, where basically from my experience you click, but it will become grind nonetheless.

As I have played World of Warcraft, PvE and PvP serious., I think this photo should apply to everything with that game.

Aside from the hating of this game, I really like the gameplay vidoes so far.
