Souvenir~ Carry a Piece of the debris from the resonance cascade or anything for that matter “like the gnome” and throw it through the portal at the end of the game!
I had that idea a while back. I called it “I Can Has Bukkit” and you carry a bucket from the restroom in Anomalous Materials through the game and toss it into one of those mouth-pits that open in Xen. But throwing it into the portal works, too. 
What about Apprehension? Specifically where you’re knocked out and dumped into the trash compactor? Will the bucket still be there?
They would dump it into the compactor with you. If you’re carrying it when they knock you out, you see it sitting on your chest (just visible at the bottom of your computer screen) as they drag you through the halls.

Achievement #1 there won’t be possible. The cockroaches are now particle effects and are, therefore, unstompable.

Still, aren’t all the achievements decided on by now? I remember reading that quite a few pages back. Shouldn’t we think of some for the Xen update? (Otherwise known as Black Mesa: Episode One, in my mind at least).
I don’t think that this thread was ever about serious suggestions about inclusion in the mod. Mostly a way to have fun with achievement ideas. But, go ahead and provide your suggestions for Xenian achievements. Who knows, maybe a dev will like the idea. 
For one thing, I think a pretty cool achievement would be an easter egg with a Combine gas mask in a secret room in Xen. Also, I recall in OpFor, there was an easter egg with a room full of Chumtoads. There should be a similar easter egg in one of the BM maps.
But if we don’t want to be serious we could always impliment the penguin grenade thing.

In Opposing Force, if you deplete all Glueon Ammunition on the vent above the door to the Lambda Core, a toad falls out.
Oh yeah, that’s right. I’ve only played the original HL1 so I wasn’t sure of the expansions. I remember reading about the easter eggs though.
Yes, the easter eggs are the best part. I’d love to find a room added with the Xen update that is similar in nature to the Tribute Room in Halo: Reach.

this thing still going… think its way to late for suggestions for basic achievements. seeing as the game is coming out soon… ones to do with xen maybe but we know nothing about it.
