Achievement ideas

There was a menu screenshot posted which shows that there will be achievements in the mod.

FYI, the devs will be making their own achievements and not using any suggested by the community, to the best of my knowledge. After all, why should we steal the fun of making them up? Plus, we have very little idea what is achievable in terms of achievements in BM.

That said, traditionally it has been the case that if one of these threads gets closed, it’s only a matter of time before someone makes another. So feel free to suggest achievements to your little hearts’ content everyone, but don’t expect to see them in the mod.

You make me cry.

yep

Murderer - Kill 50 scientist`s.

Killer of law - Kill 50 guards.

Crab epicure - Kill 200 headcrabs with crowbar.

A good player - Spend at least 40 hours a week to play Black Mesa.

Very good player - Spend at least 80 hours a week to play Black Mesa.

Professional Player - Complete the game at least 5 hours.

Fair Game - Do not use the command “sv_cheats 1”

Half-Life Fan - Complete the game at least 2 times.

Dr. Magnusson `s lunch - Destroy lunch which is in microwave.

In The Cosmos - Take teleport to Xen

Nice Multi-Player Game - Get 30 frags without a death on the multi-player map.

I like this idea, but how would they get it past apprehension?
Have the grunts throw the casserole down in the compactor with you?

[COLOR=‘Red’]There’s a thread for achievement suggestions in the suggestion box now. I’ll merge this into it.

That could make sense I guess… 'wtf is this? ’

With no gravity gun however, this would be much harder…

your ideas are bad. and you stole those last two from me you thieving little bugger

I didn’t want to be the one saying it… :3 <-- (Is there a particular emotion to express for this emoticon?)

Yes, my bad but you are obviously are the best in the world.

You know why you say that my ideas are bad? Because you are assuming a self-confident, and so that you does not to do better.

Do not cry :frowning:

And belive me , i didn`t steal it from you ;x . I have a brain as opposed to you "Neo Fan  ".

@ * I`m removed the last two you did not wept.

You have the right to remain silent - Be shot by a guard

I got shot by guards all the time in the original because they don’t care if you’re between them and the enemy… THEY SHOOT.

Thats the reason i haven’t completed op4 :meh:

Whitout cheating…

A: do you speak english? (refering to the second & last parts of the post (in bold) which makes very little sense)

B: you obviously did steal it feom me because they have the same names and are exactly the same achivements.

c: I am not a “neo fan”, I just have a neo avatar.

The bitch is back.

Blowin’ it up - Gib a scientists skull in to the microwave, and turn it on.

I Didnt steal it from you noob , im find it in Half Life Script.

You dumb ass…

I`m not good in english , and fuck off my english but you not professional too.

You blind idiot. Go to an ophthalmologist

ME: No regrets - Complete the game by rejecting the G-Man offer

ME: Wisely done - Complete the game by accepting a G-Man offer

YOU:“Wisely done” -complete half-life by accepting the G-man’s offer

YOU:“no regrets” -complete half-life by declining the G-man’s offer

Do not say that they are the same because as you can see they are not.

@You said “Your ideas are bad” but you can not think better.

blackout, you’ll have to accept the fact that your ideas were unimaginative, so they could easily be “copied” by someone else having the same “idea” if they didn’t read yours :stuck_out_tongue:

One of them has an a.

The difference is that they’re both fucking awful. Honestly, the two of you getting worked up over your achievements is like a preschooler getting offended by someone ripping off his masterpiece, “Hand Print in Red Fingerpaint.” And the ideas are just about as good, too.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
