Eurogamer Expo 2012: Abe’s Oddysee New ‘N’ Tasty
Dang, you beat me to it.
I’d been looking forward to this, but after seeing that footage it’s just a whole other level. It looks gorgeous! Have some more screens:
By the way, it’s called New ‘n’ Tasty now as opposed to HD. :3
thanks for this… Big fan of the first 2 games
I just watched the expo video and now I feel bad for naming it that
It really makes me happy to know that the developers have always loved Abe and the Oddworld franchise, and they’re fans of Gaben so, yeah, 'nuff said.
Hailing primarily from the Oddworld fandom, I’m very glad to see a thread here on this forum about this, and that people still remember and are interested in the Oddworld games. Having watched JAW closely over the past 2 years, I’m also pleased to see that word is gradually spreading about what they’re doing.
Also, for those who aren’t aware, Stranger’s Wrath HD was released for PC on Steam at around the same time as Black Mesa, so people here may not have noticed that. Those who bought Stranger originally back when the Oddbox was released last year get a free upgrade.
Oh…OH GOD.
I can’t contain my joy holy shit this is wonderful to see. I do hope they are considering Exodus as well.
Same here… It would make sense seeing as the game will use most of the same assets
That’s the kind of news I want to read - didn’t even know about it, thank you!
…this is going to be… -> :awesome::awesome::awesome:[/SIZE]
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
