A Sci Fi great has moved on.

RIP Ray Bradbury, You were one of my all time favorite writers and I enjoyed your storys when I was a young boy. You’ll be missed but not forgotten. :[

Bradbury would be disapointed in the title of this thread. He considered himself a fantasy writer not a sci-fi author.

Also wrong sub forum.

There’s a fine line between fanatsy and Sci Fi, especially where many of his stories are concerned. You say tomatoe I say tomato.

Who’s Ray Bradbury, and why is this in the gaming and technology section…?

He’s no one. And my mistake. The mods are free to move it.

Another great author has moved on…

I still enjoy his short stories…

What a brilliant mother fucker. Fahrenheit 451 is still a very relevant piece. Maybe even more now than it was when he wrote it.

I think he sucks.

^ That’s just sad.

^ Agreed. “451” is a classic and very much relevant as our world gets progressively more and more fucked up and censored.

The only short story I have read from him is The Veldt. I didn’t particularly enjoy it, but he was a great author. This is a sad day indeed.

Dude, that was like the worst book ever. I hate the part with the kids – seriously horrible.

Please. Just stop. You’re not funny.

precisely this

have at least a tiny bit of respect for the passing of one of the greatest and most accomplished authors of our time

This explains a lot.

Bradbury will be missed. He left behind some truly great literature.

I dont know who he is, but atleast I am an understanding person compared to you Dagon.

You might be mixing it up with Aldous Huxley’s “Brave New World.” That one started off with a teacher and her students, and it was so incredibly dull that I put it down. Somehow, even “Atlas Shrugged” managed to be more compelling than that book.

Ayn Rand was overrated, IMO.

I heard, just a little while ago, that E3 made mention of Mr. Bradbury’s passing. I thought he was a great writer with an equally great imagination.

He’s not mixing anything. He’s an idiot who think he’s trolling us hard.
