A question about G-man

first time I’ve seen both gordon and gordan in the same post.

I was lazy to wrote the two names correctly one after each other.

gman certainly is mysterious, but it’s not the most amazing writing by valve. It’s easy to raise questions - answering them is the hard part

edit: And as for the canon discussion, well … The expansions are canon. I don’t question that. It doesn’t say anywhere explicitly that they are not canon. Valve hired Gearbox to make the games for them. They are called ‘Half-Life’ and they cost money (so why the hell wouldn’t they be canon).

All of this means they are canon, now matter how little you guys or Valve or anyone else want to admit it.

If Valve don’t want me to consider them canon (or didn’t want me to), then they’ve made a kind of a mess of that. Why confuse people further by saying ‘oh, that stuff never actually happened’?

edit:woopsy

Maybe is just that stuff never actually happened and it was just launched because to test gearbox or maybe is just cannon and the race-x has just been exterminated by the combine.

Or enslaved. I don’t know about you, but those small guys remind me of miniature hunters…

They’re in a state of Schrödinger’s Canon; they’re both canon and non-canon at the same time.

Opposed by either side, for different views…

Do we believe in Adrian Shepherd and Barney Calhoun…

Or disown him FOREVER…

THAT is the question.
By the way, does anyone have any idea what happened to Barney in HL2? After episode 1? you never hear about him again…

Or he is happy in a zone out of combines or he’s fighting like hell against combines or he died by the citadel explosion, but I doubt this last one as he scaped with a train before Gordan.

the world may NEVER know…

In half life 3 and 1, you cannot kill him without cheats, therefore you are talking complete bullshit.

Wait. What the hell are you talking about!? What is Half Life 3, and you can’t kill him at all in Half Life 1. Granted, you have to noclip to reach him in Half life 2, but that doesn’t automatically make everything I say complete bullshit. It just makes it arguable, or opposed, but not bullshit.

We have already discussed this matter, and we have decided that it has nothing to do with the origins of Gman, or if he is human, alien, robot, or otherwise. it is on pages 1 and 2, if I am not mistaken.

ignoring the fact that that didn’t make any sense, I have to ask you: is it really so hard to change an A for an O?

… well I… I think not but, still I didn’t notice until I posted it and I was lazy to change it because it was 01:00 AM Here when I posted that.

My brother does that all the time :expressionless:

then tell him that he will probably have a good ranking of thinking in maths but a 0 of effort… (just like me)

Ok lol

blue shift and opforce cost money? shit, I’ve always had them in my steam account and I only bought CS 1.6 and source.

If you register the code for half life, then you get them free. Thats how I got them.

 Ok so you’re doing it on purpose.
Is that so hard to type down G.O.R.D.O.N for fuck sake ?

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
