Sadly CryEngine face animation is rather bad, so I doubt it’ll be as immersive as it could be, but it looks interesting.

Mechwarrior always sucked, still does. Outcast is a classic. Also, it must be mentioned you don’t need to own Crysis to play Open Outcast, hence the ‘Open’ part of the title. It works with the Crysis Wars demo I think.

Shooting things in a giant robot isn’t really my thing. I would probably have enjoyed in when I was young, but Outcast is possibly the best game ever made.
A tech demo is out, but the full game is yet to be released.

MW:LL does look pretty kickass. I really enjoyed the Mech Assault games on Xbox, wish I could track down a copy of the PC MechWarrior games…
I will admit I didn’t look at all the pics. A some of the maps look nice, especially the lava one, but the desert maps just look meh, as do some of the forest map.
In any case, I never get excited for mods pre-release (with one key exception), so blah.
I played Quite a bit of MWLL when it was released, it was glitchy as fuck, but it’s one of the things that actually made it worth it to own crysis. Open outcast looks good too, i remember playing some demo of it where you were near a dock in a lake and i liked it when i was a kid, but my dad never was able to find it in the store for some reason, so I’m looking forward to that mod too.
Once again. It is out as a playable beta. There’s is plenty of work to do, but there is PLENTY of work DONE
