I was recently drawn towards the Steam Workshop, and am interested at trying to create custom content. Would these programs easily allow for the texturing, animating, etc. required for me to run in source?

This could turn out to be profitable for them if picked up by students. Students could request that the software is purchased for use in College/University lectures. That would net the company a couple thousand for a Campus licence.

yep, I loaded that Daz stuff and it’s kinda shit imo.
I had a free version of Bryce back in the day, i think it was 4.0. Pretty fun to fool around with but not really all that useful for anything. The materials in it are crazy realistic though.
