The Anti-Mass Spectrometer is looking really cool. I hope Residue Processing isn’t a total crock of shit like it was in the original HL.
It might just be the over-tired crabiness talking here, but I don’t see the point to this interview. There’s absolutely no new information. Is the purpose here just as a reminder to the general public that the mod is still being worked on to tide them over for the long period of nothingness before the release hype starts who-knows-when?
There are new screens, so it’s news to me…
ooooom nom nom nom new screens. Looking good again! (Or still, idk)
It’s only not new because you’ve been frequenting this forum for at least 3 years.
Nah Zen, you’re right. The interview doesn’t really say anything worthwhile… at least to us who have been paying attention lately.
That said, there are new sexy screenshots! So we can still be happy.
Most people don’t pay attention so don’t get every little tidbit of information as it comes out of the forum.
That’s why there’s still moaning about iron sights.
Well, that and trolling.
Anyway, that’s why there are interviews and news bits. To share more details with the non-OCD fans.
Nothing really new was said, but ERRMEERGERD NEW MEDIA!!! Everything’s looking great!
Any chance we can get the screens in a higher resolution tossed up on the wiki or something? Pwetty Pwease? :retard:
These screenshots look awesome!
^facepalm
Free publicity! Showing off your hard work! Sharing the pride you feel about what you’ve accomplished as a team with the world! And yes, to show people they are still working on Black Mesa. Seems pretty obvious from the interview.
Is there anything known about what the multiple stages of release are? If not, could a developer clarify this? Are we getting the single-player campaign as a whole, or are there plans to release certain later chapters seperately?
Good interview for another audience, great media for us BM freaks. I just hope Ram does upload them in a higher resolution. At any rate, they look great, especially the Vorts and that pipe -we already saw that map (and that very shot) years ago, and it’s complety different now. Much, much better.
Although the information wasn’t really new, I did find Carlos’ expansion on Black Mesa’s design philosophy interesting. It seems like a relatively unorthodox way of working. Reminds me of Valve, in a way.
Single player will all be released together. I believe the next release will be multiplayer?
Pretty nice screenies
Beautiful screenshots. Well done!
:pirate: at least with each word spoken, it’s getting closer to release
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
