20gb flatrate with cap

hi ive got a small problem.
my internet plan is a 20gb flatrate with cap. Im 2 days away from the new month and im 20gb’s over my cap because they havent capped me yet.
I havent changed plans either, and when i logon to my account and have a look at my plan it still says 20480mb limit, the next plan up is a 40gb plan so i definitely havent been swapped to another plan.

Should i keep abusing my internet untill it caps if (if at all?)

Download the Internet!

Do you live in mexico, or are of mexican descent? (I am not trying to be prejudiced, just asking)

Either way, get with the times man, everyone has unlimited internet now

I remember paying a 450€ bill because I totally forgot about the cap one month.

Fortunately, I have unlimited internet now.

A year ago, i always busted my 20gb/month download limit, my dad was pissed off to pay the extra each month, so he changed it to a 100gb/month plan, it cost less than the extras that he paid and we get 30mb/s

So, as it turns out, you will not be restricted for downloading more - only charged extra. THANKS WE COULD HELP BRO!

At least you HAVE 20gb. I’m stuck on a crappy ‘mobile internet stick’ .5GB plan.
I decided to stick with dialup for everything but important downloads.

Like Black Mesa of course.

I’m curious though, have you noticed any strange activity around your house OP? Those internet police bandwidth guys are sneaky little things. :ninja:

Usually they won’t cap you… if they explicitely said that they would block your internetz when you go over the limit and cannot be charged unless you tell them so, you should be fine. Otherwise, expect a nice bill…

Last year when I lived in university residences, they were providing us the Internet access. We had a 100gb limit per month (for a 4-rooms appartment), and since we weren’t paying directly for the internet, they capped us if we went over. But we noticed they only updated the bandwidth usage at the end of each day, and blocked only then if needed for the rest of the month. So the last day of the month, we technically had unlimited download lol. After a few months of downloading 90-95Gb the first 30 days, and another 100Gb on the last day, they changed their system to update the bandwidth more frequently :frowning:

i tell ya, ive been on an unlimited plan for atleast 6 years. Now they closed my plan and im stuck with a 20gb plan. It used to be like 50-60$ per month for unlimited, now its the same price for 20gb. the first month i blew my cap reaaally fast.
I must say tho, after having the past few days of unlimited, ive ran out of stuff to download

I remember when ‘unlimited’ internet meant you could stay connected on dial-up for an unlimited time, and the limits were in hours…

i used to have a 20gb cap which was upgraded to 40gb for free, now i have unlimited, i could never go back, i download gigs of games etc daily, soon though ill have Unlimited and Fibre Optics

jealous glare :what:

stop using the internet unless your ISP has a limit on the overcharge price

mine is 60$ for 60GB with a limit of 30$ for going over but I feel it’s gonna change soon because I download ~300 gigs on top of my 60gb cap every month (my parents use a russian HDTV streaming service)

oh u. I live in Australia; we have metered uploads, shitting internet speeds and capped plans. I was living on 12GB a month up until recently; we went over more times than I care to remember.

In town I have unlimited for 30 bucks on a 5MB DSL line.
Back in the Perth location I had paid 80 bucks for 80GB ( max 40GB download / Max 40GB upload ). It was more expensive because it was wireless. It was a 6M connection though.

~$40 for an 8MBit DSL here. Internet traffic and landline unlimited.

If I lived in a flat a few streets away I’d have 20Mbit for $20. :hmph:

Unlimited has been pretty much wiped out from existence over here, my mom lost her credit card and cancelled the old phone bill with unlimited 10mbps now we’re stuck with 60gb for both upload and download for twice the price and it never goes above 6mbps while my friend with the unlimited cable contract just upgraded to 33mbps today :frowning:

Distributel… we have their DSL internet + VoIP phone service, it’s 5mbps, but totally unlimited. Radioactif also offers unlimited DSL.
But if you want unlimited with Bell or Videotron, forget it… I think even their biggest plan are not unlimited (couple of hundred Go’s) and cost “une osti d’beurrée”…

yeah ca coute cher en tabarnak

but my mom doesn’t wanna switch to videotron or any other company so I settle for cracking wep and stealing from my neighbors (they have teksavvy unlimited)
