I’d get on my boat and go out to the middle of the water, then get raped by airborne infections.
Best plan ever if you ask me.

i always thought that you would need something bite proof and bullet proof, in case there are some crazed survivors that mistake you for a zombie/crazed survivor. not to quote the survival guide.
personally i can never decide to either get a sniper rifle, or an assault rifle. not to brag but i am actually a pretty good shot, so i always thought it would be in my best interest to get myself a sniper rifle.
There are zombies, and they just can’t die. You want to build a suit out of laminated bedsheets and metal plates, hook yourself up with an electromagnet, and just run past them all until you win.
Zombie outbreak… would fail pretty quick I think. So many armed people, military and police out there. Plus, nearly nobody will be as stupid as the people who get bitten/killed in movies. And animals, natural hazards and conditions, unability to build shelter or use weaponry…
:hmph:
wut? I say something stupid again?
CTID she meant in-game, hence her dependence on nades.
or maybe shotguns don’t go ‘click’?
No matter.
I would beg to join a military group and hope for the best.
Most of that goes to shit if it’s airborne.
I don’t think this thread is about the plausibility of an outbreak its just about if it should occur how you would supply yourself.
Realistically (and by that I mean, under the assumption that an outbreak is possible) my biggest concern is going to be food/water. You can only stock so much in one place, and even if you’re on a farm and have animals and a large storage stocked up, there’s still a time limit.
The biggest problem is time - take, for example, Resident Evil: Extinction. In that movie, folks are down to raiding old convenience stores for canned goods, and the liquid contained therein doubles as your liquid intake. Since most of the world would conceivably be focused on straight up survival, the amount of production would decrease, and nobody would be restocking the Twinkies at your local 7-11. And even if you had a water filtration system, if shit REALLY hits the fan and electricity ceases to run, there’s no water getting pumped to your house and thus nothing to purify anyway. So you’d be down to recycling urine/rainwater/nearby creeks, if applicable.
That all said, you should also consider a first aid kid, various medications, some form of entertainment (think the mp3 player from “Book of Eli”) since there will be some periods of downtime in which you must maintain your sanity. Speaking of sanity, there’s sanitary - some way of cleaning yourself (alcohol wipes, for example).
Meh, all I could think of at the moment Time to sleep
-Shaved head
-White dress shirt
-Red tie
-Black cotton pants
-Black dress shoes
-Pain pills
And now you’re ready for a zombie apocalypse.
my list
-truck
-chain saw
-lots of beer
-army of rednecks with shotguns.
if there was zombies they would all die to rednecks they are drunk have guns and will shoot anything. (i know of 3 people like this so i am not stereotyping.)
So you know 3 people out of a group of thousands so you’re not stereotyping. O_o
Bad example. Resident Evil zombies would rot away. That was probably the worst thing they did in that movie.
:what:
So you’re saying that in 5 years, rotting corpses would still be active and making people need to raid canned food from whatever 7 Eleven they come across?
Actually, most canned food hit their expiration date after about three years. So I wouldn’t really eat them after 5 years of waiting.
Simple, just 10 years seed supply of:
Katana’s full motorbike leathers inc gloves and boots of decent high quality CANNOT be chewed through, and any style of motor cycle helmet, preferably one with a wind shield to cover face from blood spills and bites, will also prevent bites to the neck.
I have a paranoid weed smoking friend who has thought this through a great deal
And no, its not sersoft.
