I literally fell off of my chair, so this seems appropriate.
A friend told me and I doubted him at first.
Once I actualy saw the homepage I was like “HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN- N, YES!”

Where do you guys find all these .gifs? Well, in any case, my reaction was quite…subtle. I was super calm. Yep. Now I spend every waking moment of my life in a closet replaying the soundtrack until the release. I cannot wait to come out.
My reaction to the release of Black Mesa? I booked Friday…and four more days off.
Been waiting quite some time, I think leaving for awhile and having the news come while not actually conciously waiting for it made it that much better.
Well, when I first saw it I was browsing the internet on my phone. The timer was all messed up, and it said there was something like 400 days until its release. So, my first reaction was disappointment at the fact that we still had over a year to wait. 
My actual reaction after checking Facebook from my Cellphone
Me after realizing I’ll have to wait 12 days
My reaction was initially shock. Then denial, then pain, then guilt, then a bit of anger, depression with a dab of self reflection. Then complete acceptance and hope.
The day i found out i was already running late for work. When i got there, i stumbled into the break room, late for the morning meetup and busted in with “BLACK MESA! TWELVE DAYS! HiGH FiVES OR GTFO!!”. The whole room went silent. All my gamer buddies were like, “No way? Fo’ rillz!?”.
…my other 20+ coworkers were like, “…what?”
