Your reaction to the Black Mesa countdown!

lol. I bet. It’s been a long ride eh? Now we just have to wait for Xen, so when that happens, I’ll give a small dribble in my pants instead of the full pee myself like this time.

like this of course:
first this:

then this:

after that:

finally:

I had the benefit of nobody being around at the time when I discovered it, so my reactions were literally like some of those gifs, instead of just how I felt.

I literally jumped up and down for a little while, and yes at first I thought it’s just a game, then I thought it’s Black fucking Mesa, so why not.

Unfortunately these next couple of days will be the most painful wait since the 2009 release date was announced.

I wanted to play Half-Life again so much, but I’ve been waiting for Black Mesa Source instead for so many years… few days ago I just couldn’t take it much longer and I’ve installed Half-Life. I’ve finished game yesterday and today I’ve checked the BMS website, guess what I feel? CRAP!!!

I’m gonna wait 11 days before I get too excited. This could still be the most elaborate troll ever.

“What the fuck!”

I fapped to the countdown.

So, what happens at the end of the countdown?

I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. When I saw the note on facebook about a “red letter day” I was like “You’re kidding!” I rushed over here and of course the server was overloaded. I can only imagine how the actual release day will be.

I’ve been watching the site for a couple of years since I first heard about it. I felt like there’d be more news or leaks or something building up to it. Still, I feel like I’m about to go to Disneyland for Christmas. I can hardly wait.

And here… we… go!

So who else was dork enough to screencap the 10:10:10:10?

It’s finally here!

I find it hilarious that despite checking ModDb for years to see if anything had come out relating to its release, I was informed by fucking Facebook.

My reaction in a nutshell

Same here

Half Life is one of the game I first tried when I started gaming, when I was around 50 or so, and it really got me. Since then I have tried a lot of FPS games, but half life is still my favourite. I really loved the interaction between Alyx and Gordon in half-life 2, so I was really excited when I read in BBC news that Black Mesa was launching in less then two weeks.

My reaction:Hmm wut? Huh?! Wai-?! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
