If you haven’t read this yet, you should, it’s very informative. It’s not the end-all-be-all Half Life story reference, since there are some things no one knows for sure but Valve, but it explains everything known about the story and makes good guesses about the rest.

That timeline is very conjectural, it’s already been proven wrong about when portal takes place.
Well, I know it’s not perfect, but it’s the best summary of the entire story I could find. Do you know of any better ones? If there’s a more correct one I’d like to know for future reference.

EDIT: ON TOPIC: Episode three will almost certainly be in arctic territory, and I expect we will not be seeing many headcrabs or any aliens that we are used to, with the exception of combine.
Hl3 would better have some real nice thingys (lol cant remeber the word in english nor in finnish 
) before i could consider buying it.
