that’s not really BM media tho
I’m confused then, why was it an attachment to the 2009 Update thread?
To be honest I have no idea what role an attachment plays on these forums.
Someone posted it in there. It wasn’t part of the original post. It is something BM mappers put together, but it’s not indicative of how Xen will look in BM.
This! Cause the white one looks much more badass than the dark blueish one :]
Wish it could have this color in the mod.
o yeah… And pretty much ALL the awesome music, that has been added. Alot of it really catches the HL2 feel.
Btw, about this, where is it in the game exactly, I don’t quite remember it…
Or it could be so damn sexy I just don’t see the relation, one of the two.
It’s the bombed out building just after the last sniper nest, just before you have soldiers dropped on you in that landing area, and the howitzer that shoots out the door so that you can go to the bounce pad to jump over that wall and grab the first bunch of snarks.
Friendly fire, considering those HECU troops down there? But I’ll say that’s one of my favorites too. Great work on that IFV.
OH, Holy God!
I forgot about that place. That is incredibly well done. Good job mates.
And on topic, this is my favorite piece of media
I don’t know why, I just love the recreation of Crossfire.
gibs
Awesome.
I finally realized what makes that security guard look so weird! Kevlar vests are usually just protecting your front and back, and held on with straps on the sides… that guy’s seems to be a full-torso Kevlar vest. So they actually make vests that look like that (for private security guards, anyway)? Or is it a fictionalized version?
The new scientist model looks REALLY great guys, the lab coat looks like a lab coat now whereas before it sort of looked like a much thicker overcoat of sorts. And the new security guard is great, I don’t see why everyone’s complaining. Very good job Ivan! hahaha
Anyways, my favorite media has got to be:
the skybox distracted me from noticing that the grass is floating.
Oh god, I’ve never noticed that before.
My favourite media:

Wonderful design of the armour (specially the helmet), scary expression, perfect skin texturing. Extremelly badass.
People out there complain about the design that doesn’t resemble the original… meh. Better this way. New breath for a cartoonish-and-Shrek-like enemy.
BM media? What media?
not enuff media
What the hell are you talking about?
We have plenty of media.
No.
Dere’z neva’ enuff mediaz.
MEDIA FOR THE MEDIA GOD! PICS FOR THE PICS THRONE!
Though old, and probably rather outdated, this one always had a special place in my mind. This is what really made the concept of the mod click for me. It looks completely different and infinitely more detailed than the original section, so much so as to, on the surface, be completely incomparable to it, but the layout and the purpose being essentially the same.
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
