they are exploiting the fact that most people’s LCD inverters are still crap and they show different color gamma based on the angle of view so if you happen to move your head, especially on a small phone viewed at the wrong angle(or just a cheap phone) will result in one eye seeing black/blue and the other eye seeing gold/white.
