To my many friends, both known and unknown, wherever you may be, I submit these thoughts for your consideration. So let’s begin, quite properly, with a brief look at the historical development of the problem, of its attempted solutions, and of the eternal argument about it. Raminator proclaims at every opportunity that he’d never remake the world to suit his own villainous needs. The gentleman doth protest too much, methinks.
For the moment, Raminator makes no secret of the fact that he coins polysyllabic neologisms to make his catch-phrases sound like they’re actually important. In fact, his treatises are filled to the brim with words that have yet to appear in any accepted dictionary. I oppose his musings because they are jealous. I oppose them because they are ugly. And I oppose them because they will force us to experience the full spectrum of the Raminator Rainbow of Despotism before you know it.
In plain, simple-to-understand English, we must learn to celebrate our diversity, not because it is the politically correct thing to do, but because anyone who hasn’t been living in a cave with his eyes shut and his ears plugged knows that his deputies’ thinking is fenced in by many constraints. Their minds are not free because they dare not be. Raminator would have us believe that things have never been better. Such flummery can be quickly dissipated merely by skimming a few random pages from any book on the subject. I mean, it is not uncommon for him to victimize the innocent, penalize the victim for making any effort to defend himself, and then paint the whole satanic affair as some great benefit to humanity. I am sick of our illustrious “leaders” treading on eggshells so as not to upset Raminator. Here’s what I have to say to them: Sometimes I think that Raminator is simply a willing pawn of those prissy administrators who break the mind and spirit, castrate the character, and kill the career of anyone whose ideas he deems to be bloodthirsty. I typically drop that willing-pawn notion, however, whenever I remember that Raminator’s cringers say, “Without Raminator’s superior guidance, we will go nowhere.” Yes, I’m afraid they really do talk like that. It’s the only way for them to conceal that Raminator wants to persuade many of his opponents to enter into a one-way “dialogue” with him. Who does he think he is? I mean, he doesn’t use words for communication or for exchanging information. He uses them to disarm, to hypnotize, to mislead, and to deceive. I hope I haven’t bored you by writing an entire letter about Raminator. Still, this letter was the best way to explain to you that Raminator, recalcitrant loonies, and a few decent but occasionally resentful people are engaged in a desperate struggle for the soul of society.
