well you know the duke nukem forever hype train that crashed burned and nuked its self. it is similar to that level of hype. only this is less likely to crash and burn.
No Man’s Sky got incredibly unprecedented hype during its development. Then upon release it had like, half of the features it advertised.
At least, that’s how I heard it. I was never personally hyped for it, so I didn’t keep up on development.
NMS was an indie space exploration game that was hyped for it’s ton of features and endless possibilities due to procedurally generated worlds, but in the end the devs lied and half of the advertised features were not in the game or not the way advertised, and the planets are just basically colourswaps of eachother
Also when it was reported the game was being delayed both the developers and the reporter who broke the story got death threats. NMS basically had more hype pre-release than HL3 ever did, and that was without the devs having a good track record or showing anything other than bullshots. I don’t get it, myself.
Just tell us… Will XEN land on Steam after RX VEGA is released or before?

Personally I’m excited to see the community maps that will come when Xen is out. All those new assets, and level design concepts, will bring out some of the best in the modding community, and I know it.
Plus, imagine all the OpFor/Blue Shift map recreations that could be released with all those assets!
