WTF is Halo Reach?

forget Norway!!

…fuck, wrong animation

That was not even mildly entertaining, Tiki.
You should be ashamed.

I haven’t played Halo Reach and I’m already sick of it because of you.

Hope you guys are proud.

I am very proud
You should play Halo Reach though.

Just did
It’s a p. cool game

Foolish samurai!!

I don’t think Tiki ever was even mildly entertaining.

They should just port all those crisp, colorful maps from Halo 3 into Reach. The default maps have such a miserable atmosphere.

Also, the water physics went from fuckin’ sweet in Halo 3 to super lame in Reach.

Water physics? They don’t have water physics in games yet. Unless you mean realistic bobbing.

I mean the physics of what Halo 3 called water, not perfect simulation of what actually is water.

I thought water has improved visually quite a bit

Yes, but it doesn’t quite react the same as it used to. Shooting it doesn’t make little ripples and waves anymore.

But grenades have quite an awesome effect.

Halo 3’s water was pimp.

Also this game on Legendary in Co-op is amazing fun.

Just finished SP on Legendary.

Game was amazing. I now have the urge to play/read through the Halo series in story order.

I thought the animated water from Half-Life’s Software Mode was :awesome: but then the Direct3D/OpenGL modes messed it up, in a flawed attempt to make it look better :[

Actually, that’s usually the case with al the games. Especially when same-console co-op where your friend can punch you in the arm if you’re dumb, but of course you’re a glutton for punishment and you like annoying him so you act like an idiot and team-kill constantly anyway.

Larger bodies of water seem to be lower resolution, so they can’t have the small ripples from being shot or walked in. There are smaller bodies of water that work like Halo 3’s. Also, the last rally point before the pillar of autumn (or was it the first?) had you start in a flooded area with fucking awesome looking water in it.

Gruntpocalypse. Lieutenant colonel 3 in 20 minutes.

I heard about that. Also, apparently if you play it enough, you get so many creds that the system automatically thinks you’re cheating and bans you.
