Worst game youve played. Superman 64 doesnt count

As if that were my point.

I can’t really think of a game right now that I have played and considered the worst thing I’ve ever played.

The worst game I’ve played recently, I’d say is Duke Nukem Forever but I’m sure I’ve played way worse than that.

I’ve played them(the games I’ve mentioned at least.), and besides whats the use of lying about what games you’ve played on the interwebs?

But the complete change of visual style and tone… from almost depressing realistic projection of the cruel and unforgiving war to “Hey lets smash some nazis skulls open insert inglorious bastards moment” might just be a kick in the nuts for old fans of the series like myself

I’m yet to play DNF … is it REALLY THAT bad? I don’t believe that …

What about Command & Conquer 4 Tiberium Twilight. It was such a disappointment for the entire franchise. They stripped everything, gameplay changed 100%, no building or any real strategy tbh.

I’ve never played it, but judging from the let’s plays I’ve seen: It’s pretty fun and interactive at the beginning, but after the aliens attack it quickly dissolves into your typical run-and-gun type game, with boobs added every now and then.

Is it the worst game you will ever or have ever played? No. Is it the best also no. I don’t think its a particularly bad game, I think its average but the fact that people had to wait 12 years for it meant when it came out it was either going to get a shit load of hate or a shit load of love. Since it wasn’t particularly good it got the former.

Not worth the time playing considering all the fucking great games you could be playing instead.

The thing is, I’m not a hardcore gamer (at least I don’t consider myself as such, but I’m not a causal as well, I used to play A LOT before, and I play only “AAA” like games, thus no minecraft and shit) … I don’t own a console, only PC and I spend only like 6-10 hours a week on gaming.
Also I don’t have much to choose from, so “great games you could be playing” is alien to me, since I have played like 4 different games this year, 3 from that weren’t new but long-finished ones.
So … if you can recommend me “great games you could be playing” that are for PC, then feel free to do so … also “great” is arguable, especially in a thread about shit games.
The only game I’m really awaiting is anything Half-Life related ;D

DNF is definitely at the bottom end of the “good” pile, but much like Crysis, does not deserve all the shit it gets from the whiners.
Some of it is quite fun, some of it grates.

I recommend trying DNF for yourself, because opinions may vary. Some people hate it, but the main complaints I hear are about it not being like the original or not being better than the original and that it took too long to make.

I personally thought it was ok, wasn’t bad, but it could have been alot better. I think that this DNF was just something they whipped up to cover for the real one they’re making. Because it just doesn’t add up, all those years for THAT.

Most people will straight up say it sucks and should be eradicated from this planet, only based off the wait and all the years they wasted looking forward to DNF.

It wasn’t COMPLETELY bad. They put thought into the balance, but the problem is, the balance made everything boring since the whole thing turned into a rock-paper-scissors ultra-hard counters fest. And some of the hard counters made zero sense… beam beats ultra heavy armor but nothing else, cannon beats heavy armor but nothing else, missile beats medium armor but nothing else, gun beats light armor but nothing else…

That’s basically the whole thing right there. Yeah sure it’s balanced… ish. But the way they did it made the whole thing boring and counter-intuitive.

Everything else was terrible. Except the music. The soundtrack is possibly the only redeeming quality of the game.

I would say Plumbers don’t wear Ties for the 3DO but I’ve played worse, plus that one chick is in her underwear a lot in it, and that game doesn’t really classify as anything, the only game parts are choosing options, so that’s out

I would say Holy Diver for the NES, 1. because it’s too fucking hard 2. because it has nothing to do with Ronnie James Dio

My final decision would be… E.T. For the Atari 2600, that game has absolutely NO conveyance, therefore you are lost as soon as the game begins and there is all sorts of shit that you kinda have to figure out by running into it, although it did do well to put you in the shoes of E.T. because you have no fucking clue what to do as soon as your ship crashes

Do Atari 2600 games really count? I mean, the only good games were ports of arcade staples. Everything else was trash.

(Not to mention, has anyone posting in this thread actually played an Atari 2600 instead of emulating some stupid games to make fun of them?)

I’m actually shocked no ones mentioned Crossfire yet. lol. Pathetically bad. So bad in fact, that I won’t make fun of COD “enthusiasts” anymore.

Dune

Well, I recently played Dark messiah of might and magic.

Now the game itself is actually really fun. The story scripts and voice acting is the most embarrassingly awful thing I think I’ve ever sat through though.

It’s a good thing heroes 5, 6 and Dark Messiah are fun games, because story-wise, Ubisoft royally shit the bed. (I may have to take 6 off the list after I give it a fair chance. Not holding my breath though)

Guitar Hero

Is that Joe Barats and Luke Bereta in your sig?

Not even remotely close. Joe Bereta, Lee Newton, and Elliott Morgan from Sourefed. Is that Balcan Meso in yours?
