Worst game youve played. Superman 64 doesnt count

I agree, I’m sorry but I really tried to like Braid. I heard so many good things about it and saw all of the awards that it’s gotten, but it felt so boring. I really didn’t feel anything fresh with the game, I didn’t even set the bar high for the game because I knew it was Inde.

I’ll go back and try it again soon, sometimes going back through games that I don’t like I find some good ones. (I used to hate Mass Effect, now it’s one of my Top 3 Favorite game series.)

worst videogames ever, obviously

You always have to remind us why you chose to put tard in your name, eh?

I know what you’re trying to say, but really? That was low and pathetic.

Also, I gotta change my vote to Far Cry 2. Even the 2 dollars I spent on that weren’t worth it.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2006. I was about ready to snap the fucking disc in half.

Everything in that game was so completely wrong. Eons of load times, terrible writing, a camera so spastic even the most ADD riddled child couldn’t keep up with the camera changes, causing death after frustrating death. Silver’s terrible campaign. Shadow’s FUCKING vehicle sections.

WRONG WRONG WRONG. Everything was just TERRIBLE. About the only thing I respect about it was that Zebrahead did a great cover of the theme song. All in all though, aside from the million poly Sonic model graphics pornography, there was nothing in Sonic 2006 that warranted a cent of my rental money.

Shadow the Hedgehog somehow managed to be better than this piece of shit, and Shadow the Hedgehog was a fucking terrible, AIDS infested ass of bits and syntax vaguely resembling engine code. At least the soundtrack didn’t have so DAMN many lyrics in it, and the plot was different. It wasn’t GOOD writing perse, but their experiment with non-linear gameplay and a morality system was at least showing that the team was TRYING.

Oh, and Sonic Heroes was ass too. The camera system is almost as spastic as 2006, couple this with dodgy translation and team mechanics in need of polish and you have yet another recipe for a piece of shit. The theme song was also horrible (except for Team Dark’s theme, “This Machine” by Julien-K, which would be awesome if it wasn’t for the lyrics).

off the top of my head, I’m going to have to say C&C 4, but I know there have been worse games that I’ve pushed from my memory.

and with a different interpretation of “worst” I’d say God of War 3, I started to literally feel sick because of the things “I” was doing in that game, and when he used that chick to prop open the gate I was done.

From what I’ve seen and heard, this game is so terrible that I feel like I have to play it with friends or something just for a laugh.

What?! How can you call Postal the worst game ever? I mean, if you don’t like the game, that’s one thing, but… I mean… really?

Meh – fair enough.

Oh, and F.3.A.R.

A betrayal of the entire franchise. Turned what once was legitimately scary into a cover based co-op mess of mediocrity that never frightened me once.

I got it for free and I couldn’t even stomach it

Another vote for Far Cry 2 being shit. It was just… boring as hell.

I’m glad FC3 looks to be an improvement. I hope it actually IS one though.

These guys don’t quit.

NOOOOO[/SIZE]

Those Games are fucking Hellspawn.

How could I have forgotten the pile of shit that is “The Unmentionable Game?”

I LOVED Enter the Matrix when I got it as a kid. Probably wouldn’t now but I’m not stupid enough to replay it.

ETM could have been good. They just rushed the fuck out of it because of the fucking movie release date. What we got was a buggy, incoherent mess.

What. The. Fuck.

Mine is definetly E.T. On the Atari 2600 it cant even be put into words how bad it is

I think Far Cry 2 was really shit, not only wasn’t it in any way related to the original Far Cry but it was also absolutely boring, your missions were pretty much the same all the time and then you have these stupid AI fuckers which respawn every damn time after you’ve taken down their shitty base.

Also Postal 3, this game was absolutely horrible in every possible way.
It had really bad performance, the jokes were bad and it wasn’t no where near the level of the previous Postal games.

Oh, another one: FEAR 2 and F3AR, another example how a possibly good game series had been ruined by mainstreaming the shit out of the games. FEAR was really scary but the sequels… not even once.

Well, what else do we have… DNF, I don’t have to explain that choice now I suppose.
Red Faction 2 was also shit. They even removed the multiplayer part and replaced it with a stupid bot “multiplayer”, wtf?!

Nobody’s mentioned Superman64 yet?

i was actually one of the poor suckers who bought the damn thing shortly after release day. i was a huge fan of Superman: The Animated Series, so obviously the art direction sucked me in. Nintendo Power was plugging the game left and right and every issue up until release date had 2 or 3 ads in them EACH. How bad could it possibly be?

i took the game home, played for about…maybe…20 minutes. i threw my controller in frustration and threw a tantrum that would rival this kid. But that wasn’t the end of it. The next day, i tried to return it but the customer service guy literally laughed in my face and told me i wasn’t the first poor schmuck to try and return it. Down the road was a small independent Buy/Sell/Trade Games place and i tried to hock it there; no dice. They’d already bought 20+ copies for $2 each of store credit and they were selling the brand new copies at a profit of 0%.

…and that was 2 days after release day.

Wheel of Time was a disappointment. It was a game you wanted to be good, looked excellent, but the gameplay bled through the graphics and it was awful!
