There’s only one way to go now with zombie movies:

Zombies vs. Zombies.

Strippers vs Zombies.

The acting was near Zombie-like. Badum Tish.

Exactly. The book succeeded because it wasn’t all about killing zombies, it was about people; how they confronted the catastrophe, how they dealt with the aftermath, etc. Some of the the things they touch on in the book, like that one chapter with the submarines, barely even involved zombies at all.

If we imagine that the ‘point’ was in Southern Texas, then this film would be somewhere in northern Siberia. That is how much this film missed the point.
