Wolverine Movie

What do you think? Was the latest XMen spinoff any good? I just saw it last night and… I had mixed feelings. Of course it did not follow the story to the letter, but I was expecting that. The special effects varied from good to sloppy. Just wondering what everyone else thought of it… I guess overall I would say I liked it.

Havnt seen it yet, really wanna tho.

I don’t plan on seeing it. Mostly because I never really cared much for the X-Men, let alone Wolverine.
Even if I can watch it illegally off the internet, I wouldn’t see it. I’m that uninterested! Besides, people who pirate films are douchebags. And It’sJustSomeRandomGuy would look down upon me:

Will probably only want to see it for the Deadpool bits. But then again I don’t watch a lot of movies anyway, so prolly won’t bother at all.

Meh.

Meh.

dont bother if your doing it just for deadpool… I saw it at the theatre… didn’t know it had been leaked

Well, I don’t read the comics, but I went to see it with friends and I enjoyed it.

The particular method used to destroy the nuclear cooling tower was the greatest I’ve ever seen in a movie. We all laughed.

OH yes that movie was fucking brilliant, I saw it yesterday with a few mates, I totally would reccomend the movie to anyone

Deadpool and Gambit? It’s about time

I found that it wasn’t very exciting. It was more about finding out what happened to Wolverine that it was being a movie. Good if you like facts, bad if you like a good movie.

Neither is in for a significant amount of time, though. Gambit got a little more screentime than Deadpool, I believe, but neither was more than 5/10 minutes.

I enjoyed the hell out of the movie. Gambit was a bit too acrobatic, but I can forgive that for the rest of the fun stuff in the movie.

It’s a hell of a lot better than Xmen 3.

You take that back! Wolverine is without doubt overrated in the X-universe but Wolverine and the X-Men is actually a surprisingly good cartoon, and actually seems to follow on pretty well from the awesome 90s X-Men cartoon.

OK, I can see how that would get a bit much.

My oldest used to watch the 90’s X-Men cartoon and I have to admit I rather liked it myself. Which is why I was excited to see Gambit was going to be in the movie cuz I always thought he was a cajun kewl guy. Thing is… didn’t him and Rouge used to kinda almost like each other? Maybe not. Anyway, it wouldnt work well in the current X-Men world would it?

Indeed. It would be quite creepy to have a 50 year old Gambit hitting on a 20 year old Rogue.

I fucking loved the 90’s X-Men cartoon. With the exception of Jean Grey’s character design. Every time I see something wrong in the movies I just end up facepalming and thinking “would it have killed them to fix that detail, it’s more important then they think” or “How do you fuck something up that badly.”

That’s something I wouldn’t normally expect from raw_bean…

Saw the movie. Was better than X-Men 3 but that isn’t saying much. I couldn’t stop laughing when I saw Patrick Stewarts creepy CGI face. “It’s me children, Professor X. Hop in in my chopper now.”

Yesterday, for some reason, my mother came home from the bar with an apparently LEGAL bootleg copy of it on DVD. She says it’s because veterans get to have everything before anybody else does. The movie is pretty cheesy.

God bless America.

First half was pretty damn good. The other one… I don’t know. Anyway, I cannot say I didn’t enjoy it.
