This seems odd but i thought id let everyone know.

Ive been testing Windows 8 Recently and the results of running Black Mesa On Windows 8 are far more impressive than what ive found on Windows 7.

I get various lag spikes mainly when i put the flashlight on and various other perfomance issues.

But… When i play this in windows 8 on the same setting… its perfectly fine :stuck_out_tongue:

Maybe windows 8 isnt as bad as people think :smiley:

Microsoft optimized some graphics code in Windows 8. They were quoting numbers on the Building Windows 8 blog IIRC.
