Will the main menu overhaul come with the December update?

I was looking forward for that so that I can finally play black mesa without having to use my mouse to navigate the menu. (Using a gamepad)
But since XEN was delayed I was wondering it’s still coming for December. Personally not mad or disappointed with the XEN delay but would be sad not to get a kickass new menu
