Half-Life 2 is still a deep detailed world and still looks great even compared to many games today. I say it’s unnecessary until maybe once another 10 years or more have passed. THEN people should start remaking it like what BM is doing for HL.

ALSO, I really hope in 10 years we’ll have gotten CGI effects and video game graphics down so well they wouldn’t NEED updating, but there’s a very slim chance though. Whether I like it or not, videogame companies of the world are going to try to milk everything as much as they can… :plays on world’s smallest violin:
