Well saw the movies twice two days in a row, I really though it was an entertaining movie, one of the better movies of the year for entertainment value, hardcore fans will be disappointed for sure but who gives a fuck, I want to be entertained.

The CGI is amazing, the warp effect is fantastic, explaining the idea of a paradox so they can make shit up for the rest of movies, acceptable. Zachary Quinto as Spock, brilliant casting, Chris Pine, is ok in his role. Eric Bana is a good bad guy but not the best sadly. Old Shock = good space battles were good but could have been better and etc

dislikes, didn’t like chekov in this, Simon Pegg’s scenes seem tacked on for some reason to me. and what the hell was with that little guy that was with Scottie…

I just saw it tonight. It was freaking awesome. I loved it.

You’re making a mockery of my old Watchmen thread. :expressionless:

Are you sure?

Oh. Jesus. Pukes

God, I hope he’s right and you are mocking the hell out of it. It was such a typical topic name for people that want to look like insiders but really aren’t.

i just got home like 1 hour or so ago and i have to say i really enjoyed the new star trek movie

So did anyone watch it, or not?

I saw it an I thought it was fuckin’ brilliant, even if I never saw a single star trek episode/movie.

I see what you did there, copying and pasting… I’m on to you!

Typing is a long thing to do.

Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V FTW

I need to see it. Probably going in the next week or so. Birthdays FTW.

I watched it at like 5am yesterday, I think I’ll watch it in the theaters later.

Sersoft, every time you brag about piracy, I’m going to post this picture.

You’ve been warned.

I saw it and I was entertained. Very fun with a lot of possibilities for sequels.

I was very surprised to get home and find out that Dr McCoy was played by Karl Urban. I like the muscle-head in most of the movies I have seen him in, but I didn’t know he could act. That was very well done by him.

He was great in Lord of the Rings!

He was great in DOOM! Oh wait, no he wasn’t.

seconded.

Star Trek didn’t dissapoint, that’s for sure

cams aren’t worth it, it’s barely the movie experience. I’d rather pay 12 bucks then watch it and have it ruined for me while not even enjoying it.

Well, there a telesync out atm which is close as your going to get to near perfect copy atm.

Hey I went 2 times to the cinema, I’m entitled to my 3rd viewing free.
